Works          Biography

José Antonio Suárez Londoño was born in 1955 in Medellín, Colombia. He studied at the Universidad de Antioquia in Medellín and the École Supérieure d’Art Visuel in Geneva, Switzerland. His works have been exhibited at Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín, Colombia (2015); CAPC musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux, France (2015); the 55th Venice Biennial, Venice, Italy (2013); the Drawing Center, New York (2012); the Museum of Modern Art, New York (2010); the Trienal de Grabado, San Juan, Puerto Rico (2004); Museo Reina Sofía, Madrid, Spain (2000); and Roteiros, XXIV Sao Paulo Biennial, Brazil (2000). His work resides in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Banco de la República, Colombia; and the Graphische Sammlung Albertina, Viena, among other major institutions.
